Na Vei Kacivi X Cxnt Vol.1

Coven a ballroom house and art collective established in 2015 has a strong foundation in the underground ballroom culture and the arts known for performance activations. Coven has been leading the ballroom scene and bringing you spectacular shows at Clubs, Galas and festivals. This year two of the original 7 members of Coven are working on first developments of works each 20minutes long; bringing underground ballroom and Pacific culture to Fringe. Taking their teachings and curating pieces that you don’t want to miss.

Reymond Fong AKA Magic presents Na Vei Kacivi. This is a sympathetic love letter; an experimental Fijian performance piece using ritualistic practises with kava. Merging traditional Fijian movement, contemporary and vogue femme as ink. Na Vei Kacivi is a self discovery through life, death, resurrection and serenity.

Logan Collis AKA Honey debuts their first development of Cxnt Vol.1 to Studio One Toi Tū this March. Cxnt Vol.1 is an experimental time based performance and dance show that takes you on a journey through what it’s like to break masculine stereotypes and live as your authentic feminine self. Cxnt Vol.1 is a metaphoric shedding of skins where we embrace our bodies how we choose to.
