Want to be an Auckland Fringe artist?

Amazing! Bring on the disruption! If you’re ready with all your show’s details, go for gold and go for gold!

STEP ONE - Organising your event
Great! Unless it's illegal, we're into it.
Rally your team, and think about where, when and how you want to do it.

STEP TWO - Find your space - Theatre, park, bar or backyard
Ask earlier rather than later. You don’t need a venue confirmed to register, but spaces can fill up fast. Shop around for a venue to find out which space might physically suit your work best, whether they can give you the support you need; financially, audience-wise, or production-wise. You can check out the venues listed in the 'Finding your venue' section or approach your own.

STEP THREE - Register
Head to Eventotron.com by clicking the button below and sign up for an account, find Auckland Fringe under festivals and hit apply!

Registration will cover all information we need to know about your event, as well as things like accessibility, ticketing and your team.

STEP FOUR - The final details
The final set up! Keep filling out your eventotron registration with all the nitty details - any socials for your team / company (Facebook, website etc.)

Once all these final details are filled in, sign off on the terms and conditions at the bottom and you’re good to go!

And as always, we're here to help with any and all of these steps. If you have questions or need advice - email us at admin@aucklandfringe.co.nz.

After receiving your registration, we will be in touch about the next stages. Keep tabs on all artist info via social media with the Auckland Fringe Artists, Producers and Crew group on FB. What are you waiting for?

What does your Auckland Fringe registration give you?

You'll also be promoted within our marketing and publicity campaign for the festival as a whole - we're aiming to grow the Fringe audience all over the city.

    - Inclusion in at least one email newsletter within our overall email marketing campaign
    - Spotlight inclusion in at least one social media post or advert
    - Being part of the umbrella marketing and publicity campaigns for the festival

  2. Heaps of development opportunities, includes workshops, production advice and tuakana / teina during the Fringe prep period, as well as an open door support policy with us from registration through to showtime.

  3. Access to information sessions and networking opportunities during the Fringe to investigate and learn more about further presentation opportunities - in New Zealand and overseas.

  4. Heaps of opportunities for exchange, collaboration and networking. We'll be providing official Fringe events which enable these activities.

With a panel of industry experts covering all eligible shows and events, you're up for an award that will provide you with an edge if you're looking to continue presenting the work, recognition from the wider industry, and potentially a prize with additional financial support.

  6. A number of Fringe passes! Which enables you to go to other Fringe shows for free or cheap on standby, and discounts at some of our favorite haunts.
