KRIDATI

Upon the first breath within a new space, nostrils can often be filled with memories long forgotten. Perhaps it is the lingering, slightly stale scent of the exact pot-pourri in grandma's bathroom, the woody warmth of a new box of pencils you got for school, or the intoxicating sharpness of grandpa's pipe tobacco and the thwack of the fly swat that accompanies it.

Krīdati is a story of innocence. The resurrection of the joy and spontaneity of childhood play. A nostalgic eulogy to a childhood once peppered with boundless imaginary worlds, Krīdati uses circus theatre, shadow play and live music to revisit the pillow forts of youth. A multi-sensory performance, it follows the journey of two young characters and their adventures through play.
